Examinations:
Pupils with a known Specific learning Difficulty sometimes
benefit from an agreed exam concession such as extra time or
a scribe. There has to be evidence that this concession will
make a significant difference to the overall performance of
the student in that subject. Students get the chance to practise
the exam with the proposed concession to ensure confidence under
exam conditions.
Support For Learning can also test for Specific Learning Difficulties
such as Dyslexia if there is a query about a student’s verbal
ability not being matched by their written performance.
